The Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape (Soprintendenza dei Beni Architettonici, Archeologici, Culturali e del Paesaggio) is the branch office of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage ( Ministero dei Beni Culturali) and has the task to protect the Italian cultural heritages.

The organisation of Superintendency is regulated by P.M.D. no. 171 of 29/08/2014 and M.D. of 23/01/2016.

the Superintendency’s jurisdiction is defined by D.L. no. 42 of 22/01/2004 regarding the “Code of cultural and landscape assets” and their territorial duties concern the protection and development of cultural and landscape assets.
